Dynamic Therapy for a More Dynamic Life
Overwhelmed by the distance between where you’re at and where you want to be?
Let’s join forces and help you bridge that gap.
We all want to grow and heal, but we can’t change what we don’t see.
As a dynamic therapist, I help people see their blind spots—those hidden mental patterns that feel familiar but keep you stuck in place.
I know how frustrating it is to desire change yet keep falling back into old self-sabotaging patterns. I also know the joy and lightness that comes from breaking through emotional blocks in therapy.
As your therapeutic ally, I use scientifically researched methods to help you break free from the pull of childhood and social conditioning.
My approach is engaging, direct, and experiential. Healing occurs as we develop the ability to face whatever arises in the present moment without disconnecting from it.
My Approach to Therapy Is:
Shame-Sensitive: Healing starts by shifting from self-criticism to self-compassion, beginning with understanding the origins of your inner critic.
Depth-Oriented: We uncover suppressed memories, emotions, and desires to achieve transformation that goes beyond surface-level symptom relief.
Experiential: My present-focused approach taps into your body’s wisdom, moving beyond purely intellectual processing.
Integrative: I respect all facets of your identity—cultural, ethnic, political, religious, and spiritual—ensuring every part of you is valued and welcomed in our work together.
Intensive: Trained in Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), I guide you toward breakthroughs faster than traditional therapy, promoting deep, rapid, and lasting emotional resolution.
Values and Ethical Commitments
-
I’m here to support you, not judge your choices. You’ve likely faced enough judgment already. Effective therapy replaces harsh self-criticism with curiosity, self-compassion, and honest self-assessment.
I won’t push you to change against your wishes. My role is to guide you as you decide if, when, and how you want to make changes.
I don’t claim to know how you should live. My goal is to help you connect with your own inner guidance, not impose my perspective.
-
Good therapy is about reclaiming your humanity and dignity. You are far more than your symptoms or diagnoses. You are a deeply complex individual, infinitely greater than the sum of your challenges and labels.
-
Therapy doesn’t need to be a vague or mysterious process. I’m dedicated to making it clear and accessible for you, using minimal jargon and psychobabble.
I aim to be direct and honest in our work together. I believe people are capable of handling more truth than they’re often given credit for.
-
I’m not perfect or all-knowing. As a wounded healer, I’ve experienced my own struggles and triumphs, breakdowns and breakthroughs, just like you.
I’m not a detached, “neutral” therapist or a blank-screen bot. I bring my authentic self into the therapy room, believing in genuine connection over artificial neutrality.
